Re: Cambodian Airports Raise Passengers' Fees from 1 Sept 2023
It's funny they did this immediately after making passports cheaper. They giveth with one hand and taketh with the other.

Re: Dogs
Mime bending over and picking up a stone or just hold your fist above your head. That always deters them.

Re: Overstay advice
I overstayed by mistake once because I just forgot. I paid the fine when I got my EoS, which was $5/ day back then.
This time I'm overstaying because it works out cheaper and easier than getting an extension because my passport only has 8 months left. Otherwise I'd get +1 year like usual.

Re: Overstay advice
How long does your overstay need to be before you need an exit visa?
I'm planning to leave after overstaying for 3 days. I assume I can just pay at the airport?

Re: 2 passports, 1 visa
I took all our passports and the officer we spoke to told us to bring both of my daughter's passports so he could see her k visa and entry stamp. I'll take the birth cert and family book like you suggested. Getting a Cambodian passport doesn't seem worth it to me since we'd have to carry 2 passports...

Re: 2 passports, 1 visa
My daughter only has a UK passport so we'll go next week and get it sorted. Her old passport and k visa expired before our flight.

Re: Being called Stingy? A rant.
I've heard of someone's businesses failing because their family members helped themselves to food off the shelves whenever they felt like it. I wouldn't be surprised if some people help themselves to their sister's clothes whenever it's convenient. If something like that happened to my wife she'd be...

Re: 2 passports, 1 visa
Anyone have experience with acquiring an exit visa? I went to a travel agent this morning and confirmed that I cannot get more than 1 month extension for myself and they told me to get my daughter's exit visa by myself too. Looking in her old passport the visa was issued on the 11th July and expired...

Re: 2 passports, 1 visa
Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm flying home for July and reading through the UK's website it looks like applying for a new passport should be fast and straightforward but Murphy's Law is always a threat.
Wish me luck!
