Re: American Pedophile MICHAEL J PEPE's Life Sentence for Cambodia Sex Crimes Overturned in California (UPDATED)

Anyone who was in Cambodia late 90's and early 2000's knew about these places and I believe JB has been there almost that long. You would have had to be living in a closet and not ventured more than a block from your hotel not too. All it shows is that he is more knowledgeable than you. Qu'elle sur...

Re: Phnom Penh's Famous Sokha Hotel For Sale - Only $1.5b

Just another way to look at this. In 2020 Cambodia's GDP was about 29 billion USD. Source: https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/NY.GDP.MKTP.KD.ZG?locations=KH Here's a hotel on offer, with some land, with an asking price of just over 5% of the GDP of the entire country in last year. I know the info...

If I were them, I would never publish photos confirming these beasts existence and location...for obvious reasons.

I know a few Bong Thoms that surely will scramble to find this fantastic animal and end it.

Re: How the British Embassy has failed its citizens

The British Embassy in Cambodia has been notorious for as long as I can recall for being rather cavalier about citizen support. They also have little funding and staff, so the problem is rooted back at the mothership.

Re: Stair gate/baby gate wanted

How old is the little fella ? If he still crawling about, you can stick an old door, a window shutter or any other solid barrier across the stairs so he can't get through, but the adults can still step over it without opening up a crawl space. We tried that with Pubert, he climbed right over it. We...

Re: Carrier Recommendation for Mailing Important Documents?

I've used Fedex before (Cambodia>UK), very reliable and I think the cheapest for basic documents in an envelope - I would pre-seal any documents though & simply list them as legal documents or whatever; there are some rules around passports, etc. that you will get 101 questions about sending, b...

Re: Do you speak broken English?

We really are a condescending, supercilious lot, though. It should be us learning Khmer and them speaking comprehensively to us. I can't imagine why anyone would speak English (broken or not) to any local unless they speak to you in English first? Pretty much nobody in my neighborhood speaks Englis...
