Re: Riverside - October 2023
I had attended the Water Festival in Siem Reap a few times but never in Phnom Penh. I am not big on crowds but I figured that I had to check it out. Walking from the Hotel Cambodiana wasn't too bad at first, but once I reached Chaktomuk conference hall, things got a little busy. I did see of the ra...

Re: Riverside - October 2023
I I walked back after the fireworks. We went back past the palace as Riverside was just way too packed. I had a flip-flop blow-out soon after leaving, had to make my way barefoot. Re: Khmer Beef vs Import
and what exactly does mass produced industrialised product taste like? Have you ever eaten meat that came out of a JBS or Tyson bag? If so, then you know what tasteless, mass-produced meat is like. my problem with the meat here is the distinct lack of meat on it. I buy all my meat from the market a...

Re: Khmer Beef vs Import
I don't eat beef but I get pork at Phsar Leu Thom Thmey at least once a week and I never have any problems. If anything, I found the quality to be much higher than that as I have had in Western Europe and Canada (i.e, it doesn't taste like mass produced industrialised product). and what exactly doe...
