Anyway, it's all moot now, we are going to be stuck with the new one. At least we will be out of there in the same time as the old one, because it will attract precisely 0 new travellers. The hour journey to get into town, and the cost, is what will grate. Takes me an hour to go to the old airport ...

How was that calculated? I have flown to/from PNH many times before and after covid and have yet to see it "busy" in comparison to other airports Why would you compare with other airports that most likely have a capacity many X compared to PNH? If a airport dont have enough gates to rent ...
