Re: Heat
Anyone have suggestions on where to escape the heat next April, preferably within a few hours flight from Cambodia?
Bali appears to be significantly cooler but never been.

Re: Banking issues for Americans residing in Cambodia
Why do you need a US bank account to file your taxes? I've never encountered that requirement. You don't. But if you don't you will need a US address to send the paper check to if you are getting a refund. They will send you a check to Cambodia, but I don't think any bank in Cambodia will cash it.

Re: Fans with Water Vaporisers
From personal experience here in Cambodia, I don't think these fans work so well. The humidity is already pretty high and then you add more moisture with the mist. You end feeling more hot.
Maybe if the mist fully evaporated before coming in contact with anyone it would work better.

Who doesn't have a smart phone in 2024?
And frankly, does Cambodia want a tourist who can't afford a smart phone?

https://i.postimg.cc/qtSKDGyC/71-KUVim1x-WL-AC-SL1000.jpg This is probably a stupid question but do you have to stick it to the floor with something, or does it just stick automatically? Yeah you just lay it down. It's some type of plastic, not foam, so it should last a long time. Bought it from a ...

Re: Longtime Australian Expat KEN LONG Dies in Phnom Penh from Heart Attack After Slip in Bathroom
RIP Death by falling in the bathroom is not such a uncommon occurance. When i shower and the floor is wet i walk really really carefully like a couple inches per step, for a reason. Those slippery tiles here are not to play with and certainly not if you slip and hit the back of your head on them or...
