Re: I cycled the new Kep beach today-

Well, as you know, mountains will topple to provide the dirt for landfill. The scenery overall will be changing, and the area will to some, be that little more attractive, lucrative, safe. I have always thought of the time being a bit of a double standard, meanwhile the truck driver and his load wil...

Re: Best way to get a business visa for Cambodia?

The issuing of Visas on Arrival remains suspended. E-type (Ordinary) Visas (often incorrectly referred to as the Business Visa) can only be obtained in advance from a Cambodian Embassy/Consulate, with the exception of Taiwanese passport holders who can obtain it from the e-Visa website. The criteri...

Re: Building a provincial house

Re: Building a provincial house

30K for very Khmer style would be doable. Don't expect anything fancy though. Depends how big the bedrooms are as 3B could be quite large. Good deal, I was hoping it wouldn't top 40k. Probably going to go with a design from a cousin of the wife's, simple 50m² by 33m², we lose a bedroom but that wou...

Re: Building a provincial house

You should be able to build a basic cambodian home on stilts for less than 10K. Depends on all the extras you want to add. https://i.imgur.com/iV5oEk3.jpg even less for these ones: https://i.imgur.com/X15ribZ.jpg They even have a water bed. If the materials and labor are available in the area, it w...

Re: cooking gas cost?

Interesting thing about the fuel price increase- I’m sure I saw a news article talking about reductions only a few weeks back. There was for sure news articles about the fuel prices when there was a drop, telling people to fill up at the time, I don't know we're we are at now, also considering the ...

Re: Covid in Cambodia, what do you think the temparature of the water is?

Put it down to neuro dermatitis from stress but just wonderin if guy had tested. Rashes are also a symptom of dengue fever, which is very common in Cambodia. It is less talked about since the Covid came along, but that doesn't mean that it has gone away. https://e-healthonline.com/rash-for-dengue-f...

Re: Covid in Cambodia, what do you think the temparature of the water is?

So this guy is confirmed covid who has the rash.wondering for a friend? No, of course not, without an official test it's only a wild guess, but I would agree that it is more likely to be an acceptable guess that is not going to cost him largely in money terms to be told what he already suspects. Ho...
