The five dollars is just a deposit, you'll get it back once you return it, otherwise it's still a 4000-5000 riel to exchange it I've got a bottle, but it's a different one so I don't think she'd accept that. I'm by the Durian Roundabout and the only place I can find that sells them wants $5.
I've just spent the last 2 years in Siem Reap and never paid more than $1 so I think she may have been charging me a foreigner tax!
