Re: My partner the doctor is ignorant
Don't know but in my experience the worst cramp is in the hamstring not in the calf. When you're hamstring goes, nothing else in the world is of any consequence. My hamstring cramped only once, HARD. It is intense and relentless pain, I recoiled so much both my calves cramped too simultaneously. It...

Re: Oil price crashing
Do any of you here subscribe to the theory that geopolitical brainiacs and 4d chess players Vlad Putin and MBS have cut a deal, dropping the price of oil through 'competition'. In an attempt to put America's Shale out of business, or at least destroy some of it? :please:  :dm: I'm 100% sure t...

The UK isn't in the EU, it left earlier this year. There is no ban on anyone entering the UK from any country, it's completely open.

VFS office closure
VFS is temporarily closed due to the virus. Does anyone have any info on when it might reopen? I want to get on with a UK visa app and it's the only thing holding me up.
They must be losing loads of money, I would have thought they would not be keen on closure.

Re: What do the stranded barangs do?
1. After witnessing a T-bone accident on Monivong, I jumped out of my tuk-tuk and administered emergency first aid to the poor lad who had been knocked from his bike. By an at fault driver. I took the keys from the guy and refused to let him leave. He offered the injured party $200 to let him leave...

Re: People in shock. Effects on Cambodian economy.
This is about to be the worst recession in anyone's lifetime. I mean 1929 level or worse. I'm finding it hard to predict how that will affect Cambodia but I expect it will be really quite negative.
It could be managed ok or it could be really fucking bad. We will soon see.

Whatever drugs you need, don't run your stock too low, supply could be interrupted. This is going to be a really bad patch.
