A lovely and fitting epitaph. I can't explain why, but I had a place in my heart for Gordon and was really saddened to hear the news of his passing. He was one of a kind.

Re: My rooster problem

I could have added a few duck eggs, I've been handing them out all over the neighborhood trying to generate goodwill.

Rooster is next door, crowing at this moment.

Re: My rooster problem

I don't know the word for rooster, but I marched over and said "I not want your boy chicken" and handed it to them in a bucket. Unfortunately their garden is closer to my bedroom window than mine is, so if they do keep him it's going to be even louder.

Re: My rooster problem

Wouldn't the neighbor want him back? I don't think so. They pointed at him a month ago and laughed and shrugged, which I thought meant "not our problem." He's pretty messed up looking, I'm not sure if that would make them not want to eat him or not. I've never really talked to the neighbo...

My rooster problem

I think I posted previously about a disabled chicken that ended up in our yard. He can't walk correctly and sort of limps around and was getting beaten up in our neighbor's yard pretty badly by his sisters. He crawled under our gate a few months ago and ended up staying. Now he's too big to get out ...

No, thanks. Debating with you isn't fun; your representation of what I said and what I think is completely warped.

p.s. the word you were looking for is misandrist.

Re: Khmer women and alcohol?

You seem pretty defensive, UKJ. You made a blanket statement about feminists, a group that I am a part of, and I pretty gently told that you statement wasn't true. Take a chill pill.

Re: Khmer women and alcohol?

.............And feminists wonder why we prefer Asian women! I'd bet that a feminist has never looked at you and wondered that, to be honest. That wasn't only wrong, it was a bit uncalled for. Most times I mention being in Thailand, provokes a negative response from women in the UK. You said that f...
