Re: Cambodian brides-to-be heading to China
The issue with Chinese Bride trafficking is that unlike the rich Chinese casino gamblers we often see blowing money here like if they had an endless supply the people that can't find a bride in China are often in the lower social classes. You won't find the upper middle class educated man from Shang...

Re: Looking for large amounts of dried cassava sticks or similar
Take a vacation up to the north east of the country, you'll see plenty of drying stations and casava fields and I'm sure someone would sell you some The sticks you will see put up there are used for planting in the next rainy season. Those are too valuable to sell per metric ton. Usually each cassa...

A few restaurants will let you have private rooms if you book. The restaurant will still be close but they can arrange the chef to come and serve you in a private room.
Several places that still do delivery are open to that option as the chef is there anyway.

Re: Outbreak of Unidentified Coronavirus In China as New Year Approaches
I am guessing China is still using the same system of counting deaths as they did before with the common flu? USA counted tens of thousands of common flu deaths a year while China less than 100. Because China only counts one cause of death. So if you die from bacterial pneumonia induced by the commo...

What I worry is that some people might just have lied on the symptoms just not the get hospitalized here and due to general peer pressure as they didn't want to be the person that caused everyone to get locked into the ship.

On the cruise ship locked at Yokohama now 355 passengers (out of 3,700 on board) are infected. Here it's a dumb lie. There are no football teams here that can afford to pay for foreign players.
A much better lie would be quality control at a textile factory or something like that.
