Re: Phu Quoc, no longer the 'last paradise' of Vietnam?

Re: Phu Quoc, no longer the 'last paradise' of Vietnam?
with reference to the last poster, I think you will find that although such a proposal was actually made by the CPV, after large scale protest on the streets of Vietnam , and re-consideration of the proposed legislation by the PM and Vietnamese Government, "The act succumbed to pressure and was...

Re: Living in Vietnam - Places You Like, or Dislike

Re: Beach Resort for Rent in Koh Rong: 25 cents per sqm rental cost
Maybe I am missing something, but the figures don't seem to add up.How is $5000 a month for 12,000 m2 a rent of 25c per m2 ,it would need to be $3000 a month to equate to that rent per m2

Re: Kampot to Pho Quoc with own car
AFAIK a foreigner is no longer allowed to drive a Cambodian registered car in through the border to Vietnam. They used to let people do it,but as I understand it,they don't now.if you have a Cambodian driver and car, they can bring it in,but there is some paperwork and payment involved on the Vietname...
