Where to stay on Koh Rong Island
Hi, for my birthday this year (this month) my husband and I would like to go to one of Cambodia's islands for our first time. We want to go to Koh Rong because I've never been on a white sand beach before, and we want to go before it is developed :( Any recommendations for where to stay? We would li...

Re: Any English teachers willing to share helpful hints??
How big should said photo be? Like a 9x11? Or a passport photo size? And should it be Cambodian passport photo style with a collared shirt and/or (suit) jacket? Or is any attractive photo sufficient?StroppyChops wrote:

ELT = English Language Training. They don't have a website, but they are big. It looks like they have changed location. They are now here: https://www.google.com/maps/place/ELT+International+School/@11.5695849,104.9241837,19z/data=!4m5!1m2!2m1!1sELT+phnom+Penh!3m1!1s0x310951634a00f807:0xb214647ba46...

Re: Any English teachers willing to share helpful hints??
I don't know if it's reputable, but ELT still pays $15 an hour if you ONLY work 530pm-630pm, Monday through Friday. $10 is as low as it gets. As a female, you'll get scooped up to teach kids quite easily, if you're willing to teach kids. Mackevili, what does ELT stand for? Do you have contact info ...

Just wanna let you guys know that you are all RANTING now ;-) Not helping the discussion :) And it makes it difficult for people to sift through when they're trying to figure out what is going on in your conversation/trying to find the answer to the original question. Sorry, that's what you paid for what and going where? I was confused by WackyJacks comment but I must have missed something in the slew of slightly unhelpful comments ;P
Thanks!

In search of stove top espresso maker
Hi all! So I've looked at Lucky Supermarket at Ratana Plaza, Bayon Market and the kitchen store there on the 2nd level, and I cannot find a stove top espresso maker. I also don't know what to call it in Khmer so am not able to ask locals where I could find such a contraption. I haven't ventured to O...
