Re: Absinthe
Anyone know where I may be able to find absinthe in PP? I'm guessing Mean Sok would have it, as their selection is very wide, recommended to me here: https://cambodiaexpatsonline.com/post620836.html#p620836 (I think the one most places carry is a bottle shelf one, with an old man on the front. Mayb...

Re: Visit a prisoner sihanoukville
I think what the OP is asking someone to do is borderline suicidal. Asking someone to offer a bribe to an official is not what his original ask was. If he’s wanting someone to break the law for someone who is in prison for breaking the law then he needs to come here himself and take that risk. A ja...

Re: Seeking advice
Thanks Phuket Richard, Lost 50, Random Dude, Kung-fu Hillbilly, Yongchi, Kammekor, Rgrowden and Username Taken for the solid advice. I'm collating it now and will translate for my friend Bunnat. Got a videographer lined up already. Cheers! P.S. If anyone needs a smart sober polite English speaking ...

Re: Seeking advice
I highly recommend he use business cards . A little story - I lived in PP for 5 years, used tuktuks, just grabbed one off the street when needed. One time, the tuktuk guy gave me a business card, said to call him whenever I needed a ride. Great guy, Mr. Li is his name. Careful driver, polite, kept ...

Cool, that seems correct based on a tweet by one of their journalists, but not clear from their announcement. Updated the OP.Khmer_Risotto wrote: ↑Fri Mar 01, 2024 1:32 pm They are NOT shutting down.
They are just stopping the print edition and going online edition only.

Re: I'm back in Phnom Penh with the fam!
I have a 2 year old. I haven't noticed those yoghurt pouches here. The best value drink shop is probably Che Deth on the west side of st 13 just south of 148. Kanazawa on riverside between 118 and 110 should have some tasty meatless dishes. If you want to borrow our stroller while you are here, you...

Re: I'm back in Phnom Penh with the fam!
It's been a while, what's your impression of the city since you were here last? As for restaurants, if they like Indian there's plenty of choice. I often eat at Hummus House which has plenty of vegetarian options. There are lots of specialty vegetarian places but I'm not so clued up about them. Sou...
