I know this CEO, not VEO,but does anybody here have a good idea of where to buy a mobile phone in either Hanoi or HCMC? I am asking for some friends as they will be there.

Easy Laos border crossing?
I am heading up to Kratie today and then Laos. I assume there are bus/visa scams and I would like to be made aware of them. Thanks for any advice.

I take it you are in Sihanoukville, Sohi? A world apart from London. What brought you out here in the first place?

Re: Good Indian in PP?
I went to Sher-E-Punjab and deliciousness was had. It was funny because upon sitting down, I realized I ate there last time I was in town 4 years ago. Better this time as I was with my partner instead of that bitchy American NGO worker I was boning.

Where would you eat for your last night in PP?
I realize I just asked about Indian food, but since it is my last night here, I thought I should try something special.
It might be because it has sentimental value, but hopefully because it tastes good. So what would it be?

Re: What brought you here? What made you stay?
Those are some low standards, mate! But I am sure it worked out for the best? Good food to be had here and I am sure you've met some lovely folks. How hard is it to stay permanently?

What brought you here? What made you stay?
As a backpacker I see all y'all and I am always curious. I can easily see some of the charms here and it's cheap enough. What did you fall in love with? I am an expat myself, just not here. I went from USA to Australia where I have had permanent residency for some years now. I arrived there as a bac...

Re: Favorite restaurants? Can you recommend an optician.
I ended up going to Grand Optics and the grand total was $1. My glasses seem quite well and they were very necessary as they were my prescription sunglasses. Dining in the Dark is an amazing experience. You choose between western, Khmer or vegetarian food. The exact dishes are a surprise. You are th...
