LOL. Oh yeah I remember exactly this example when somone tried to say "tchnainj" they would always say "tchnang" - it would be really funny during a conversation when everybody got confused then. Everybody gets confused by romanized Khmer. Everyone should write Khmer script to a...

Oh, nice thread. Uhm, I have a question that might sound a bit strange. If you write Khmer in Latin letters (because you either can't write in Khmer script or don't have Khmer keyboard), are there any rules? Samouth, I have a question for you. My wife's family often uses the Khmer word toin, rhymes with the English word join, to ask me if I am stressed at big family parties that are loud and have many screaming kids running around. Ok. I always hang out with a bunch of German.
