Re: Driving a Cambodian-plated car into Thailand banned?

Road to koh kong is as good as it has been in a long time, just a few freshly repaired sections put the car a little sideways due to pea gravel. Road pretty much deserted, was a dream after ...

Re: Driving a Cambodian-plated car into Thailand banned?
Also does anyone have current information on the condition of the roads to Koh Kong or Pailin from Phnom Penh? I heard Sre Ambel - Koh Kong road was a bomb-site about a month ago. Thanks.

Re: Welding high-tensile steel
When my kick starter chewed half its spline teeth out in the middle of battambang and pailin, I just told the local kubota welder to weld it to the spline. He had a far better idea though which was to enlarge the gap in the bolt area (not the thread itself), and then the bolt could get enough grip a...

I know you tried Hometop, but I saw they've got sugarsoap there, that should do the trick

Re: Electric oven. Reasonable?
I've got a 40L Akira with rotisserie, about 50 bucks from Sunsimexco. Had it about 6 months or so, and power bill extra is negligible. Roasting pan size is good for a pizza (rectangular), but the best one is to marinate up some pork loin or chicken fillets with either a nice mortar & pestled cur...
