Re: Ear Cleaning by Doctor
Most doctors cannot see my ear drum as I have really small ear canals. That being said, I don't trust most people to clean out my ears in whatever style or fashion. Has anyone had a local doctor around Phnom Penh clean their ears out with a scope and whatever other instruments? I want to get a good...

Re: Lucky supermarket at Soriya
Oh yeah, also on Paragon, I recently saw a rat on one of the higher shelves in the biscuit section . It was busily munching away on a packet of stuff and was completely unperturbed and didn't budge at all. It wasn't a particularly healthy looking rat as it had patches of fur missing, a bit like som...

Re: Lucky supermarket at Soriya
Lucky supermarket put their meat back in the freezer and relabel it if it doesn't sell. You can see sometimes they have a packed by date and the sell by date is blank, and this is sometimes discounted. Egg boxes are opened and paper labels with new dates put inside. Places like Bayon don't even put ...

Re: What do you pay for coffee and where to go?
Thanks for the clarification. I did, however, get several google hits for 'piccilo coffee', although it did ask if I meant 'piccolo'. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=piccilo+&gws_rd=ssl#nfpr=1&q=piccilo%20coffee&start=0 I am no coffee snob and am bemused by the current terminologies.

Re: What do you pay for coffee and where to go?
I'd love to know what exactly a 'piccilo' is. I've searched the net and see many references to 'piccilo coffee' and 'piccilo latte' (by which I think they mean a kind of coffee) but can't quite make sense of what it is.one piccilo followed by how every many espressos i decide to stay for.

Especially since Lucky supermarket doesn't stock it.Bitte_Kein_Lexus wrote:1.6 for envelope sounds suspiciously cheap. Especially for lucky.
And $4.60 would be nearer a 'Lucky price' if they did.
Supercheap had some at $3.10 in December, and that was about as keen a price as you can get now.

Re: What exactly does "awesome" mean anyway?
From the context I see it used in - online reviews of pizzas etc. - I've concluded US English 'awesome' = British English 'awful.'
Technically it refers to something bigger than and incomprehensible to the user. No surprise that they use it a lot then.

Re: Suggestions wanted for good value reds to try
Vina Maipo had a red that I thought was good value, and I had many, but then the vintage changed and so did the quality. Not sure what years they were now, but as with most regions, it made a big difference to the taste. I don't often find much variation in vintages with the Chilean jug wines. The ...
