Re: Cambodia's 2022 Oscar entry: Trailer for 'White Building'
I have been looking around for any legal way to watch this movie. I don't mind paying for culture, but I'm also practical, so if there is no legal option I don't lose any sleep over torrenting stuff. It's been listed on one of the French sites, so I guess I'm giving legal options one last go.

Re: I like intelligent conversation and calm energies.
I just misinterpreted the OP's question and it wouldn't allow me to delete my post (is there some kind of time limit to delete posts or something to do with other people adding to the thread or something?) it would only allow me to edit it but then wouldn't allow me to just re-post a blank comment ...

When real justice is served there’s no need for vigilantes. Normally the courts serve justice. If the laws or the implementation of them is lacking, then voting in better representatives is the way to go. Not overriding the legal process. Also there is the aspect of perspectives, not talking about ...

Sleeping? on the tracks? -I doubt it. Rings of the "heart attack" line. If that were me, I'd wish the Doc would have some sympathy/humanity and cleverly fail to do his best. I don't wanna wake up from that! good god. Better to be a juvenile offender for chrissake! Most people who get unin...

The folks at Google probably subconsciously injected white supremacy. https://i.imgur.com/NokC0Ac.jpg If you do a reverse image search that image was already online by Feb 7, 2008, so initially not relevant when it comes to the last decade of Googles search algorithms. Further most articles about t...

Nonsense threads can be hidden from search engines, to not pop up on searches. As long as the statistics shows a reasonable view count, nonsense threads brings in add revenue. It’s only when they descend into Bat Cave territory, where only the 3 posters are viewing it that it becomes purely bad busi...

Re: Is CEO backdating threads to boost search engine ranking?
All the talk about post date vs prominent date doesn't really address why Google thinks some threads are posted on dates before the demise of the person that died. Since the prominent date would most likely be the time of death if mentioned enough times in the thread. Where did Google find a date pr...

... and the English language. That translates into influence. I think you would find American English to be the modern common tounge, of non English native speakers. Pre WWII it was more of a mixture of a few primary languages, Spanish French English. Even German was the leading language in a lot o...

Re: The Inevitable and forthcoming Lock-Down
Both Italy and Spain closed the barn door After the horse had bolted, they are not poster children for lockdown. Last couple of days I have seen some speculation about the high fatality rates in Italy and Spain might be related to a huge part of the population being anti-biotic resistent due to lif...

Re: Holland America Cruise Ship to Dock at Sihanoukville
I think the question is: were they infected when quarantined, or did they become symptomatic while quarantined? AFAIK they only tested the symptomatic ones, and nearly 30% of the people tested has shown positive. On the other hand, if I were locked on the ship I would probably be symptomatic to, if...
