Termite Infestation
I purchased a wooden china cabinet this time last year. Now it seems it's infested with termites. I'm from Northern Canada, and we don't have issues with termites. I'm not familiar with what to do. I will start doing my Google searches, but I thought I would ask for advice from members who have firs...

Re: English Dentist Coming to Cambodia to Assist Dental Charity
In the "west", countries with universal healthcare are all struggling to maintain the level of service "expected" from by citizens. While year after year these gov't have continued to cut or not increase healthcare spending. It would be a very rich or highly taxed nation to offer...

Re: AirAsia Plans to Launch Low-Cost Airline in Cambodia
Once Cambodia has a good road network, the distances are such that there will be no real need for any domestic commercial flights. Travel times from PP are already so quick by road to SHV and Battambang. New roads being built to Koh Kong and Bavet. SR is not a bad road and anyway the new airport lo...

Re: AirAsia Plans to Launch Low-Cost Airline in Cambodia
Some airlines will not be have international flights to Siem Reeb, Sihanoukville or other "international "airports in Cambodia. If the Pochentong International Airport is to be used as a domestic airport, as well as cargo and defence, then international visitors to Cambodia will have a ma...

Sorry a little off topic...
@phuketrichard when you say "land tax", do you mean the tax charge on the Sale of Property or an annual tax based on your property (property tax)? I was told that there were no annual property tax in KoW.

Re: The New International Airport Construction in Siem Reap
cool, not a gas station, rest stop, gh or town nothing but the open road :-) Be careful of what you wish for. I bet after the airport gets fully up to capacity, we will see a hodgepodge of supporting/spin-off business pop up everywhere without any thoughts on urban planning. New little local commun...

Re: God is Angry

Rain in the desert is rare, very rare, but not unheard of. People drown in deserts every year because the...
