Re: Divorce Lawyer in PP

Stand corrected. Isn't the law here that in a marriage here all the previous children of the woman become legal responsibility of husband. That is unless the real father petitions court that they want to continue legal responsibility. If that's the case then in a future divorce the new husband could...

Re: Cambodia's 'scamdemic' reputation scares off travelers from China

The deciding factor for many Barang to leave Shianoukville was the doubling of rents. The Chinese offered landlords inflated prices for rooms. The mistake they made was not leaving an area where Barang businesses could operate and florish. It was 'All In' for Chinese. Signage , restaurants etc all c...

Re: Cambodia's 'scamdemic' reputation scares off travelers from China

Plus the hit movie in China 'No More Bets' !!!!

It's the families back in China that often end up paying for people caught up in scams.

Maybe time Shianoukville put red carpet out for Barang!!! Many loved the place before they decided to put all eggs in one basket with Chinese.

Re: New Vietnam draft law to offer 3-month e-visa

Good questions. Nobody knows processing time. Their stated goal was 24 hours but at this stage plan 3 to 5 days. Insurance details required on form. No idea if no insurance disqualified applicants. The feedback is that it is a more detailed application for 90 day visa. Certainly not a smooth start. ...

Re: New Vietnam draft law to offer 3-month e-visa

Payments now working I believe.

Smooth sailing I hope. No idea the time for processing. They indicated a faster time but that's wait and see. 3- 5 days likely.

Don't leave it too close to flight departure to apply.

Re: New Vietnam draft law to offer 3-month e-visa

My friend applied 5am this morning for 90 day visa. The site up but looks like many having issues with payment as site not making payments possible . Also you need to declare details of insurance. Surely the site would have been tested but by comments on Facebook can't see any one get application co...

Have friends of Art coming from Vung Tau to Friday's tribute at First Bar in Kampot.

Vung Tau and Kampot communities saddened by his passing. His gift to entertain was very special.

Kampot much loved entertainer, Art Gilbert, passes away

Kampot music scene lost one of its greats with the passing of Art Gilbert. Art entertained in Kampot bars and restaurants and was a great performer with his trumpet and guitar. Art also played in Vung Tau for many years. Kampot will miss him and his music. He was also a local identity on his bike wi...

Re: Average amount guys are paying for a girlfriend?.

'The Art of War' clearly talks about deception as a key strategy if you want to 'win'. The fact is that the Barang guy is the last to know often what's the real situation. Always remember a Barang guy been with ' wife' for more than a year and complaining a Khmer guy following them. He went to guest...
