Re: Family book
Family Book and Carnet de Residence are 2 totally separate documents. I realise they're separate documents, hence "family book" in quotes because that's what my wife calls it, and Carnet de Residence in brackets because that's what it really is. Your child is a Cambodian Citizen by descen...

Re: Water cuts in Phnom Penh
We've got a 2 floor (+mezzanine) shophouse in Phum Damnak (about a mile north of the runway 23 threshold). The water pressure dropped dramatically at the start of the year, making it impossible to get running water above the mezzanine level at pretty much any point of any day between 6am and 11pm. I...

Family book
Missus is Khmer, I'm a Brit. Our son was born outside Cambodia 20 months ago. Missus tried to add him to her "family book" (actually Carnet de Residence) when we got back here when he was 4 months old. I think it was at the village office, might have been the Sangkat. Wherever it was told ...

Re: Logitech unifying receiver
I'm pretty sure they aren't sold separately. I've never seen them anyway. They only come with wireless peripherals. That is probably true here. You can buy them on their own from Amazon so before I go on a fruitless circuit of every computer shop I can think of it's worth asking here - just in case.

Logitech unifying receiver
Anyone know where in Phnom Penh to buy just a unifying receiver. Don't want/need a new mouse/keyboard, just the receiver.... like this https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81n55zBRh1L._AC_UL436_.jpg As in, actually know they have them in stock? Not just some random PC shop where you've bought random ...

Re: Legalize Single status/Unmarried in MOFA
Take her to Hong Kong to get married - no bullshit paperwork required - then take her to Israel as your wife. Assuming you were planning to get married eventually.....

Re: DIGI
I've had Digi for 8 months. It's been pretty good until last week. Service went out for several hours on the 5th. Got an SMS on the 6th blaming EDC. Since then the connection has been up and down about every 5 minutes. They don't answer the phone, the recorded messages cuts off before giving you a c...

Re: BugZone: Nothing's perfect...
Just tried to send a PM to a single recipient, got a rather stupid "You tried to send a private message to too many recipients." error. What's the voodoo incantation to be able to send a PM? Used to happen to me. Close the session and start again is what worked if I remember. I just sent ...
