Just got back from my appointment for my UK passport renewal with VFS it took no more then 30 minutes, had everything all prepared before as they request. I'll give a report back on how long it takes for my new passport to arrive so people can have a vague estimate off the process I recived an emai...

Just got back from my appointment for my UK passport renewal with VFS it took no more then 30 minutes, had everything all prepared before as they request.

I’m envious of those times for a government agency. Just changing the last name on missus’ green card through USCIS took 2 years, almost 3. Just got it back in the mail last week. Just speaking to friends in the UK who've recently renewed their passports and they've all said its taken less then 3 weeks. So I'm thinking I'll renew it online in the UK and get it sent here or possibly meet someone travelling to Thailand. Anyone have any recommendations for a Courier service UK ...

What are the recent times expected from your appointment at VFS to receiving the new passport as I'm not impressed by the estimated time of up to "15 weeks"
