Re: K-Visa help

Yes, you are correct, he didn't have a UK passport at that time and that's what finally kick started the process of getting one. I am already in Cambodia, I live here, so wanted the k-visa so we can go and visit the UK. I tried to get a visa for my son in his Khmer passport to visit the UK and it wa...

Re: K-Visa help

Because he cannot visit the UK on his Cambodia passport. The UK embassy would not issue him a visa. So in order to visit the UK he is going to have to travel on his UK passport and to leave Cambodia on it, he's going to need a visa.

Re: K-Visa help

I tried to get a visa for my son in his Khmer passport to visit the UK and it was denied, stating that he is a UK citizen and I must get a UK passport for him. So I want the k-visa so I can exit and re-enter Cambodia on his UK passport easily. Also, if we were to visit Europe, yes I can do so on his...

K-Visa help

Hello, I know this has more than likely been posted before. I have searched here for it, but the tag of 'visa' brings up many previous threads and Google has also not been helpful, so help would be greatly appreciated! My son is born in Cambodia, has a Khmer Passport (his mother is Khmer) and I rece...

Re: SIEM REAP is it as bad as its being portrayed?

I live in Siem Reap and love it here. The city is pretty clean, easy to get around, not too big or congested, and it's easy to get out of the city and be in nature. There are a kit of very reasonably priced options for accommodation and yes as many people have pointed out, you don't need to sign a 1...

Residency Certificate

Hello, I am having difficulties obtaining a residency certificate. I have had one previously and it was $20 at the Sangkat with my old landlord. I am in a new apartment and need a Residency Certificate. My landlord is saying the Sangkat won't do it as I'm not a citizen of Cambodia. Is there anything...

Re: Worried about 2 British travellers in Cambodia - advice needed

Crikey, I think I walked past the younger one on the street about a month ago and regretted not stopping to say hi, because I met them through a friend (who now seems to have a very low opinion of them) and I'd matched with her on tinder. So I was like, oh I should have said "hey, aren't you s...
