There's big money in poverty, but to be fair some of the NGOs do a great job. I remember the Starfish foundation giving out a sack of rice, bag of sugar and salt and fish sauce on a monthly basis to students that attended their school. Great for all. I hope they are still operating.

There are many excellent modern cinemas here. Better than cinemas found in many countries. Problem is they are all closed at the moment. I like the Prime Cineplex cinemas because they are inexpensive and high quality seating and sound systems.

Agoda quote their rates minus tax, so they look better than Booking, until the final amount is declared. I also thought Booking was run buy some Dutch company, but now I see that's just where their HQ is. There's surely some bargains out there, if people could travel.

I used to work at Le Royal. I remember some guy coming in wearing jeans and TShirt. He still looked loaded. Perhaps it was his haircut or his bearing. Hard to disguise wealth.

In Cambodia, you don't get a wedding invitation; you get a wedding invoice. What you pay is up to you and when it is your turn to get married, the married couple will attend your wedding, and will give you an envelope with the same amount. Major updates on Friday and this morning. Seems normal. After first update, internet connection wouldn't start automatically. Now this morning, it's ok.
