Re: Alcohol Sales Banned/No dining-in - PP

This is just in from Sihanoukville: Cambodia News, (Preah Sihanouk Province): The administration of Sihanouk Province on April 15, 2021 has issued a directive about stopping the sale of all kinds of alcohol for 14 days. https://i.imgur.com/PbWkLgY.jpg I'm confused. :? Yawn. Another 'inherited wealth and privelege' parasite gone. One down, so many more to go. The poms whinge about it, but they love having a foot on their necks. There’s always one. Pray tell, who exactly has a foot on their neck, and who’s foot is it? I didnt know him personally, so no bad feeling...

Siem Reap curfew

So its definite: the Covid virus only comes out at night, so its OK to hang around bars and restaurants during the day, but everything will close at 8pm. As if the poor owners didnt have enough to contend with - no tourists, roadworks everywhere - and the cops will be hauling people off the streets ...

Re: Cambodian Song Lyrics (requests welcome)

Thanks a lot geezer. So basically the whole sense of the song has been changed. The original was about the singer's brother (and JFK) dying, feeling terrible but then looking at the good points about the deceased and the bright side of things. The Sin Sisamouth version is more of a basic love song....

Re: Posters who are just here to shit on Cambodia.

As an objective opinion, yes there is much about KOW that is shit. Try following Google maps in Siem Reap for example without falling into man made sink holes and craters. Volumes of dust in the air that block out stars at night and choke you during the day. Traffic cops whose only interest is perso...
