Just immagine Cambodia in 2024 with NO new recent aiports. None of the old airports would be near max capacity. Billions could have been better spent.

I guess Cambodia appeals to those who have not enough funds to live elsewhere. It may be the top of the cheap countries to live in. But far from beeing the best overall.

Thaiconomics at work: you want more tourist income? You double the visa fees. Somebody has to make up for the huge loss of income due to the medical herbs now sold freely.

Went to Immigration in Trang today. They transferred my arrival stamp into the new passport and got an extension within 30 minutes. Best ever experience at any immigration so far. Heaven compared to the endless queues in BKK.
