Re: Pallets for Sale
Plastic or wood, new or used? There are a few places around here https://maps.app.goo.gl/4nHsLeYm9SXsimST9 Wood and used. That place looks perfect. Any idea as to cost? I am hoping for >$3 a piece, or am I dreaming? Unlikely unless you want crappy ones, but you can try, especially if you don't need...

And when i did arrive I always kept those number in my mind and still believe in it, even they slowly change ofcourse. And don...

Re: Illiteracy in young(ish) Khmers
10 years ago 50% of khmers couldnt read or write, i suppose slowly its getting lower, and i know some european people also who hardly can: They are champions in hiding it, always will have a reason to not read for example a restaurants menu (forget glasses always works). Before i was "smart-pho...

Re: Oh, You Internet.

Re: Dating websites for short-term friendship
In an earlier thread I started I received advice that using dating sites could be a good way of meeting a girl in Cambodia. I did try this, alas without much success! If you are resident, or in PP for several months, then some of the sites my be helpful but for a short-term visitor they did not see...

Re: Vietnam. Ferry slams into tourist boat coming from Phnom Penh. Arms lost, legs broken. (Video in article link)
It doesn't get clear to me, what exactly has happened and who's fault it is. I am preloaded, that a ferry usually goes pretty slowly from one side of a river to the other, while a tourist boat "traveling at a high speed" follows the flow of the river. However, this high speed boat was inc...
