Re: Recommendations for Kampot

Havent been to Portugal for more then 20 years, but what i do remember about it was, they rarely have a 3-course menu as they do in Spain or France, useally you order a main platter which includes a huge piece of meat'+rice+fries+veggies. And all together its more then enough, used to come mainly in...

Rent a car and drive yourself downthere, take a fancy hotel in Battambong and go around lunch time with kilos of food and beers. When it approches 5.30 tell them you drink more then enough and dont like to drive in darkness in cambodia. Go back to your Battambong hotel, shower, take a dive in the po...

The easiesy way to get a foreign car into europe is on a Carnet De Passage en Douane, its a kind of book thye stamp in and out when entering and leaving a country, its accepted almost worldwide, but not compulsary worldwide. It costs around 250 euro plus the amount what the car/bike is worth (more o...

Re: Best of the Best bar on Street 118

I think the landlords on 136 are asking so ridiculous leases now that the bussiness are moving very slowly to 118 and 5the street.
The best bar on 118 in my eyes is Front Bar, never had a bill from +20 dollar overthere !!!

Re: Vietnam Waives Visas for Poland, the Czech Republic and Switzerland

Always seemed strange that they didn't lump at least all the Schengen countries together seeing as the reciprocal Visa arrangements are presumably the same for all of them. Just back from my first trip ever to Vietnam. With belgian passport i do need a e-visa, it works pretty similar as the cambodi...

Re: Thermal Energy Question.

I would suggest that our western modus operandum is just not as the cambodian one. Maybe just pay some extra electricity for an aircon is cheaper then build a house that costs the double price. It all depends on the numbers, if laybour is dirt-cheap nobody bothers some job takes 4 times longer then ...

Re: American Social Media Influencer JESSE MCCAUL Appointed as Interior Ministry Advisor in Cambodia

I am curious what in fact is a ministry advisor or whats worth it. Coincidentially a couple of weeks ago i get info from a good friend that the ex husband from my ex girl was flashing around with brandnew bussiness-cards telling he was also a ministry advisor, probably he is on the list in the docum...
