Re: Where would you go if you were denied entry?

Anywhere but Laos. Whatever you do, never go to Laos... I went to vang vieng 13 years ago. Shit was buckwild. Penang actually looks decent. Clean. Cheap. Good hospitals it's about 100km to thai border so I'm guessing Visa runs would be pretty hassle free? My wife and I lived in Bali for 5 years it'...

Where would you go if you were denied entry?

I saw another thread here about expats being denied entry back into KOW.. which makes me wonder where all my fellow SEA expats would go if for some unforeseen reason this happened to you? Thailands cracking down on visas so that's not looking good, I know alot of people steer clear of phillipines wi...

Re: Siem reap vs Phnom penh

Agreed. She was denied a tourist Visa twice before getting her first one. Both times with a lawyer for no apparent reason at all. Just taking our money up until this point it's been close to 20k

Re: Siem reap vs Phnom penh

My wife and I are awaiting her prospective marriage Visa... it was more expen...

Re: Siem reap vs Phnom penh

I'd ask what are the other choices? And I'm serious when I say that. You need to clearly thing about the added risk your exposing your child to. We have had two children born in Cambodia. I would clearly state that if my wife weren't Khmer there is no way I would choose to raise children here as a ...
