Re: Electrical Fault Causes House Fire in Phnom Penh
Isn't every fire attributed/blamed on an "electrical short" without even a proper fire investigators inquiry even if they ever had one especially the day after or maybe even the day of the incident. Given the expertise of the "technicians" I can see why. Maybe a cover for arson?...

Vietnam has a more evident "free the nip" movement than Cambodia for sure

Re: Distilled water
A while back I bought a water distiller and it has been a complete game changer. Every drop of water I drink, all of my ice, every cup of coffee, everything is made with distilled water. It tasted so much better than any bottled water or tap I’ve ever drank. I don’t know how I ever lived without a ...

Re: ABA: Potential Sale by National Bank
I can't remember the last time I used my debit card, and am unlikely to replace it when it expires. How do you pay for online shopping or sign up for online subscriptions? Re: ABA: Potential Sale by National Bank
I got a bit suspicious about ABA the last few months, changing countless small shops into ATM self servicing centers. I have no idea what they pay on rent for them, but given the insane amount of places that popped up like mushrooms in the last few months, I am scratching my head how this can pay o...

Re: 4 buses explode at Angkor Wat
A driver I spoke with yesterday said they were LPG buses that overheated while parked. I didn't know that was possible. This would make a lot of sense - especially looking at the damage it would appear to be consistent with an accumulation of gas in a confined space which then ignited I'd venture i...
