Re: Cost of living poll.

I did two weeks in PP recently. Admittedly a holiday. But I spent about $1k excluding flights. I reckon you could comfortably live on $1-$1.5k a month.

Re: The Man Friday soliloquies.

Re: Oh, You Internet.

That's a hilarious cum town clip exploring a fantastical re-imagining of the matrix populated with italian americans and jewish people which touched upon the real life racism embedded in Hollywood and why certain characters in the movie "The Matrix" are cast as they are and not as the the...

Re: Do you drink and drive? Poll.

What’s interesting is that there are a number of admissions of doing what many would judge as entirely irresponsible. I’m not saying it was okay. I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s where drink driving wasn’t illegal. It was “normal”. I was never more scared when I stacked my car. And that was enough to ...

Re: Do you drink and drive? Poll.

After a serious accident due to drink driving, never since. (Flipped a car 4 times and was lucky to escape uninjured.) It was the moment that rattled my soul enough to realize that I wasn’t invincible. Avoided gaol and all other negatives that could have befallen me. Now, I walk or get a taxi (or ve...
