Re: Siem Reap destroyed
You buy the Angkor pass from the ticket office on rd 60. There is a cycle lane all the way up Charles De Gaule. The roads are coming on and getting finished now.

Re: Siem Reap destroyed
Agreed, there's no way it will be done in 6 weeks. Although the pointy guys were out again in force on Saturday looking at the handful of almost completed roads and patting them selves on the back. It would seem they are oblivious to the shitshow elsewhere in town. I think there will still be things...

Re: House arrest in Siem Reap
Restrictions have really been relaxed now and I'm sure that you will have no issues renting now, you probably just asked at the wrong time with the lock downs. Hopefully next the booze ban is lifted.

Re: House arrest in Siem Reap
With the news today it looks more and more likely that lockdown will be extended by another week. Of course only lockdown, there will again be no help or similar in supporting people and businesses. Whenever they let us out again expect 10-20% of the remaining business not to reopen. Between this a...

Re: House arrest in Siem Reap
Siem Reap ain't much fun at the moment, lockdown along with shitty roads, business closures and regular heavy rain. Getting battered from all angles. I also think these current measures are a 'punishment', but rules were never enforced so of course people will flaunt them. The serving of alcohol in ...

Re: uk passport for new born
Its been a few years since I did but I don't think its changed too much. You'll need to first register the birth of an overseas British citizen, this is its own process and quite simple. In addition to what you have mentioned, you'll need a collection of photos with you and your family dating back. ...

Re: MISSING PERSON: British Martial Arts Instructor in Kampot
He's been in Siem Reap for much of the last year, maybe try checking there too. I'd see him around town sometimes at music events, but not seen him since the curfew restrictions kicked in. Quite a character, hope he's OK.
