Re: Layout of the CEO forum.

Those bastards will be hearing from our lawyers! Jk, we both use the same forum software, and theme by the looks of it. Don't fall for his charm. He's trying to get instant access to the darknet areas by buttering you up. Are you saying that you got access to the darknet area without the use of but...

Re: Schengen visa, (and K-visa query, and some other stuff)

I always used to buy the flight ticket for my wife when applying for Schengen, fully refundable type was the way to go. @Freightdog as above, the easiest option for sorting Schengen is the German embassy, the French one is just a diabolic mess & busy all the time from my past experience, someti...

Re: Residency for stock traders ?

No idea, it has been on the cards for a long time, but one of those sorts of things that takes a decade to implement in Cambodia. I haven't lost any sleep on it yet!

Re: Residency for stock traders ?

I was able to open an IB account here no problem, not sure re: Binance. You can trade a normal pleb from here, no company needed. You won't be able to get a tax number here, this I think you can just state that Cambodia doesn't have it, job done. Tax is still at zero as far as I know, the capital ga...

Re: Card and cash vs phone, banking apps and QR codes

Definitely splitting across 2-3 banks is a solid plan, using each for different purposes - I use bank (A) for day to day, bank (B) for credit card online, Bank (C) credit card for retail credit card usage (hotels, flights, etc.) One other thing is to ensure that anything you pay with on a card is yo...

Re: Why do Western women visit Cambodia?

The question is wrong. I think what we're driving at here is are there any reasons why western women visit Cambodia that are different from reasons why western men visit Cambodia. I think this is almost entirely the same for both sexes and anyone on the rainbow in between; Angkor Wat, job, drugs, bo...

Re: Cheapest SIM Card

I think for anything up to a year validity you can look at the Smart M2M plan as the best option (https://www.smart.com.kh/get-smart/plans/smart-machine-to-machine/). If you switch to that whilst away, should do the biz from my observation? [edit: And yes, looks like they rejigged all the USSD code...
