Re: Taxes
Tend to agree, there has been a 'capital gains' tax in the works for a decade or more, but currently the GDT has no real way to tax individuals on a consistent basis, no tax IDs or annual returns, etc. so for now you're all good. Sorry been busy last few days, but didn't miss much - a quick review the of the week that was only found this little nugget for Munich. The continued cool weather clearly hampering "jow" efforts in Q1 so far. https://police.gov.kh/?p=45723 https://police.gov.kh/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/%...

And what a breath of fresh air Karoline Leavitt is to the previous question dodging wastrel. Some hard answers coming out, and maybe not...

Re: Online Casino PLatform
Yes, online casinos have been illegal in Cambodia since 2019 as far as I recall (even for foreigners). Feel free to pump Nagaworld with your business when you get here though.

Re: Item stuck at customs
Its OK. Crisis averted. I got a call from the Post Office (I was able to answer it this time) telling me my package is available to be collected from there. I'm expecting to pay extra charges but I'm just happy to know where and how I can collect it. Thanks for all the advice. 👍 Oh if it is a Post ...

There is no queueing system, so just make yourself annoying and poke your head in the office door where one of the customs officers will ask for the papers (as I mentioned you will also need t...

Re: Item stuck at customs
Customs have been cracking down hard over the past year or 2, anything with a value of over $50 requires clearance and depending on the item you may also be charged import duties. I used to always order directly from Amazon, and never had to deal with Customs as DHL did it all and delivered to my h...

Re: Item stuck at customs
Which company did you order it from & which company do they use to deliver? (Amazon typically use DHL or UPS for instance). They should be able to sort paperwork on a single item, I broke all my Xmas shop into individual items and they all came through this time without needing to go to customs....
