Re: Khmer ladies

I had a good long relationship with a cambodian lady in the past not too long ago. For once I can tell you right now cambodian ladies are somewhat different from what have you; say a european woman. So let us talk about the problems first because that is always why we bother writing about these fema...

Re: Thai tourist boat overturns. Dozens missing.

Personally I think it's a tragedy. These charter boats are so over-filled to the brim that the slightest quarter is bound to flip the boat over end. It's okay in rivers and valleys but out on the big blue it's a whole different story. All boat goers you better learn how to swim and float before ente...

Re: The society of Cambodia in comparison to general european culture

Well anyway it occured to me are drifting way off topic here. As for in comparison to general european culture I can surely say this: Both country and continent had massive turmoil in the immediate post-war era. Luckily for both the good guys won through. At the end of 1945 there where neither Sovie...

Re: The society of Cambodia in comparison to general european culture

Your argument was a little difficult to follow because of the non sequiturs and the way opinions are presented as assertions. However here's just a section, I might do more if I have time. Rubbish excuse for one patethic reply. Why say that? There is plenty of evidence relating to Cambodia in the n...

Re: The society of Cambodia in comparison to general european culture

Is that all? I am pretty disappointed by the lack of replies. I expected there to be more awareness on these sort of issues, especially amongst the expat community. The dimly lighted and throdden down streets casts a sort of mysterious and undiscovered vibe across the entire destination. Its awesome...

The society of Cambodia in comparison to general european culture

So it has occured to me in the rare instance that Cambodia is somewhat different from your general east asian country. I mean, it is not a member of any defence alliance, not a member of any free trade deal agreement, and it is certainly not a first world country. So what sets this country apart fro...

Re: Landmarks and General stuff to do in Phnom Penh

I actually rented a place for the weekend on Silk Island. Best night out I ever had. Service was excellent. I have no complaints. However I did feel somewhat isolated on this spot. It was not.. how you say? Very convenient. I mean try saying that to someone who is looking for tampons at three in the...

Re: Landmarks and General stuff to do in Phnom Penh

Honestly I didn’t bother reading after you said you like Phnom Penh for its cleanliness. This is a joke thread right? Haha you got us! Or if you are so unhappy with the situation you can go to your nearest janitor and ask him yourself when it will start looking clean because every soi has there own...

Re: Landmarks and General stuff to do in Phnom Penh

What with all the trash piling up you would have thought i would have heard or seen something. Yet there has not been a speckle of rubbish to be seen anywhere where I am living.
If it is so unclean, I wonder why that is?
