Re: Monkeys coming inside homes

The monkeys came back last week. One jumped on the back of the 6yr old. Scared the crap out of her, but didn’t bite or scratch. Kid was a bit hysterical for an hour. St154, near to junction with St19.
SWMBO is talking about changing apartments again as a result.

Re: 400 bucks to fly to the uk?!?!

Supposedly so- All travel required a COVID negative test prior to flight, within 72hrs of travel. However, there were several reports of arrivals via Seoul being tested COVID positive within what should otherwise be a 'safe period'. Safe being a very subjective description. Given the, yes relatively...

Re: 400 bucks to fly to the uk?!?!

As for which route, Korea or Singapore, keep this in mind. I have definitely seen (I’m sure it’s been in CEO news about passengers having arrived from Korea) and heard of people testing positive after arrival in Phnom Penh via Korea. I’ve not heard of this happening with Singapore, although it prob...

Re: Spare Bank Account

Revolut?

We use it a lot, what with lots of borders and currency changes. Top up and manage via mart phone App. Near instantaneous notice of transactions to the app.

Re: Vaccines and Your Experience

Second Pfizer shot for me today. In the UK, the first round was pretty much a sedate affair, no real issues on the day. People seemed spaced well apart. 10 weeks on, shot 2, they were processing people in a very industrial manner, like a scene from another brick in the wall. shuffle, stop shuffle, s...

Re: Bali to deport influencers after fake face mask 'prank' (video)

Will ur home country immediately kick out a tourist for a prank like that? And by the way all of these these low grade mouth masks are totally useless. As a prank by itself, I've no problem. I'm a bit of a prankster at times, myself. But they seem to have made the mistake of thinking that a silly p...

I'm tweeting Melinda right now mate, ya never know, she might like a bit of rough.
I've seen your rough! Edgy. She might want to break in gently, and I'm not sure sitting anywhere near Jamie improves your chances.

Re: Philippines tells China to F&^% off

While comparing the over-all population of China against various countries one needs to remember who makes up the bulk of the armed forces. Young men I'm not sure what to think on that. Looking at what has been happening in Burma, it's hard to really comprehend (with a western educated mind) why th...
