I’m sure I saw the big mobile stuffed toy sales thing a few weeks back, going through its customary route near 136. We bought a massive bear when middle child was 3 going on 4, and now the little fella is all over it, too, some 3+ years later. It’s actually bigger than all 3 kids together, and remar...

I’ll give a thumbs up to Central. I was a tad sparse with the details on Sunday. I was nursing a broken nose among a few other issues, and then the snatch and grab that I witnessed the day before had me pondering the question that I posted. I did go to Khema (the whole family are well known, there, ...

When you test a helmet to the point of serious damage, then it becomes very clear the benefits. I was dragged into motocross as a teenager, and a decent helmet is the reason I’m still here today, much to many peoples disgust. Helmet was toast.

‘Sealed for life’ is often misunderstood as never requiring servicing. What it really means is the expected life of the vehicle, and within the manufacturers dealer network. So no one here mixes the cooked rice with the eggs before placing that mix into the wok? In a word. There are in fact many different ways which vary across Asia. Some I like, some I don’t. I like a simple egg fried rice, or just with prawns. Re: French support proposal to make it an offence to avoid housework

Re: Aviation News
At least every crew member could walk away from this one. One needed a check out in the hospital, but apart from that they did ok. I think DHL's HR department may beg to differ. Re: Slightly overloaded
The stupidity of locals amazes me. Thanks...not.. for the glib, generalised disparaging comment about khmers. You realise don't you that life ain't that easy for locals here and that there's a practical reason behind overloading.. Do you think it's a good idea for an expat forum to disparage khmers...

Re: Putin's Daughters
They could openly denounce their father’s actions. Maybe they support their father and his actions. Then fair game. Caveat-But within the framework of the relevant laws. Otherwise, some legal means will come about later demonstrating their unfair treatment, and they’ll be winners. The moral high gr...

Re: Putin's Daughters
If they (authorities) can consider freezing and seizure of assets of other oligarchs, then why not? The fact that they are putin’s daughters will only serve to make the message clearer. So long as the same process that is applied to others cases is followed in theirs. They are legitimate targets, an...
