Re: American Fugitive JAN STERLING HAGEN Arrested Outside US Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

I for one would say if you have your foot in someone's door, then you have already 'entered' their house. It actually reminds me of a time I had a rabid cop with his foot in my door... to pursue than they thought worth it, as I wasn't gonna incriminate myself and they really didn't have much to go ...

Re: American Fugitive JAN STERLING HAGEN Arrested Outside US Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Was he at least guilty of the habitual drunk driving or he was he the victim of overzealous law enforcement in those cases too? He put his foot in the door to stop the door from shutting on him...

Re: American Fugitive JAN STERLING HAGEN Arrested Outside US Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Thank you for this version of events. Will the police report and court documents say something wildly different, if someone were to obtain those documents from the Kenai Superior Court? Asking for a friend.
I would love to see what the documents said. It never went to trial so ther...

Re: American Fugitive JAN STERLING HAGEN Arrested Outside US Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

while waiting out front of the embassy for a tuk tuk driver, local authorities nabbed him and put him in the van. They took him to the Department of Immigration where’s been detained for two days. He will be escorted back to Alaska on a flight within a couple of days. assume he had $$$ as the US, W...

Re: American Fugitive JAN STERLING HAGEN Arrested Outside US Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

History: He was put on a five-year probation for 2nd degree sexual assault (which was a fabricated story) He was charged with burglary, kidnapping, and sexual assault. How and why was that fabricated? What happened? He is actually a good person making small bad desicions with huge consequences. The...

Re: American Fugitive JAN STERLING HAGEN Arrested Outside US Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

REAL STORY: He was trying to get back to the US to turn himself in where he was wanted in Alaska but he lost his passport on the trip back up to Phnom Penh so had to go to the embassy to renew or give him a temporary. He did not know they report to local authorities as Cambodia does not have an extr...
