Re: Old laptop SSD replacement - or new laptop
If you are not able to install the new SSD alongside your original SSD and need to transfer the Windows OS while the new SSD is not connected, you can follow these steps: 1. Create a system image: Create a system image: Use the built-in Windows feature called "Create a system image" to cr...

Re: Cheapest SIM Card
Yes it does in my case, but I actually tend to end up using all my data before that expiry date, in which case you need to go for the "Renew early" option. Good thing about SmartNas is that you can still get into it with 0 data left. Likewise I think you can also use ABA with 0 data left ...

Re: Cheapest SIM Card
Why not buying a pile of those scratch cards while still in Cambodia? They have usually a validity of a year or more, so when your SIM is about to expire, just top up? Good idea for next time, I'm not in Cambodia now. Using local bank account to add money to the SIM. But also, when I tried recently...

Re: Cheapest SIM Card
No, USSD codes actually route back to the home country - so you will be able to use those so long as you're roaming. :) Yes thx for the correction, sloppy copy & paste on my half sorry! Hi Spigzy, Another follow up on this. If you have put money in the account using the Smart Nas app, does it a...

Re: Cheapest SIM Card
It still seems accessible via USSD: *123# 2. (Smart plans) 00. (Next) 7. Smart XtraLong! 1. Switch to Smart XtraLong! Their website is a joke, along with the app - even the old ThomMorng plans which I thought were supposed to be replaced by Laor are also still shown on USSD, what a mess. Thanks Spi...

Re: Cheapest SIM Ca
I think you mean you have roaming. Yes, I probably do. But both Cellcard and Smart refer to it as “International”. As in, enabled for international roaming. Which not all Cambodian sims are. Yeah you have to enable it before you leave the country. I have it set up for one number but it has a long v...

Re: Cheapest SIM Ca
Smart rejigged all their plans a while back. I can’t remember any of the names except Laor Data6, which I’m using. $6 for 1 month? I think. Maybe. Smart are convenient if you can run an E-sim, as that can be done online, without ever visiting their outlets. Just have all the ID docs and stuff avail...
