Re: Sick British Expat DALE WOODS Needs GoFundMe Help to Get Home
Sad but if he is terminally ill and really that far gone that he is in a coma then the best thing to do for his young family would be to move him out of hospital and pump him full of painkillers until he dies. Save the money for the kids. No point in spending thousands to fly him to UK only to have ...

Re: India vs Cambodia
I've got a little bit of experience in India. As others have mentioned the lack of respect for personal space can get old fast. Outside of major conurbations I've found Indians to be quite pleasant. The Sikhs in Amritsar are pretty solid. Up north around Dharmshala, Manali way is quite nice and peop...

Re: VESPA 250CC te koop.
There are no special registration requirements if it is over 125cc. It has a modern looking registration plaque in the photos which indicates it has proper documentation. Of course the registration.requirements could change between now and next week. There was mention of vehicles not being able to t...

Re: Where to go to find the girly bars in SHV / Kampot
Rule of.thumb in most rural locations is the ktvs and brothels are a little ways out of town. Kampot however does have a couple of slag bars and knocking shops in the city environs. They are not that hard to find if you keep your eyes open unless you're Stevie Wonder.

Re: Sihanoukville, a pothole in the Banana Pancake trail
A dozen years or so ago Sihanoukville was relatively pleasant. Otres, Ream. Before Snake Island got a bridge and before the Russian mafia bought Victory Beach and stuck a stupid plane where there used to be a buffalo wallow. It was most definitely on the banana pancake trail until 4 or so years ago ...

It is still good after all these years. Decent vodka too. Not too expensive and a welcome change from other cuisines.

Re: Renting A Car In PP?
Why rent a car when you don't know the country and hiring a driver with car does not require any deposit or license and isn't that expensive?

Re: 18 St 278, Phnom Penh
Don't understand how tourists don't get the lay of the land in PP if all they do is travel between riverside and the Russian mkt via independence monument. Especially in the days of Google maps and passap. How much easier could it be? Stay anywhere within a couple of km of the independence monument ...
