British Man (John Trevor Sharland) Found Dead at Amba Ssade Guesthouse, Sihanoukville, Heart-Attack

Sihanoukville: According to Koh Santepheap Daily News, the correspondent of Koh Santepheap News said that, a British man found dead in room number 03 by staff of Amba Ssade guesthouse. He was found dead around 10:30 am on 21 October 2015.

According to local authority, the deceased name John Trevor Sharland, 59 years old, he died from heart attack.

He was about halfway through his business/normal visa. A shame. RIP.

Just as an aside, he somehow got 13 months on his Visa. 17th June 2015 - 17th July 2016.

Sometimes if you buy the $25.00 visa on arrival and then send it off straight away for the years visa they credit you for the days that are left on the 30 day visa.

It happened to me on 2 occasions and looks in the passport like a 13 month visa.

You get the initial 1 month E-Visa on arrival for $35, you then extend it for a further 12 months = 13 months. That is normal, nothing unusual about it.

Strange I arrived back in August Pp airport paid $25.00 1 week later used a travel co. for the years visa.

has the 1 month E visa now increased to $35.00??

The fees were increased with effect October 1st 2014, tourist visa increased to $30 and ordinary visa increased to $35.
