I Just Heard That a Certain Bogan Pulled a Knife Out on RobW and His Misses at Rehabb Bar... WTF?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

yeah in England in current times they would fall into the now loosely used "Chav" bracket, at first it was used to describe the anti social thuggish youth of the early '00s but has now a broader meaning

in Scotland Chavs are called Neds
The first meaning of Chav was used by Cockneys when referring to children had no negative connotations. I think it's all to do with working class bashing this new use.
yes mate wherei live we still use the word Chavi, used by older men towards younger men, we also use the word Youth as well in the same context, Chavi is an old Roman word meaning Child

a pretty standard conversation our way would go something like this....

"Now Then Chavi"
"Nah Then me ode"
"Hows Thee?"
"Alreet Mucker, and ya'sen duck?"

you understand Samouth??
Bloody Northerners :P :pardon:
I understood that conversation.

I feel so ashamed. Image
