So you drink. Well done, you.

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

So you drink. Well done, you.

Doesn't it EVER get old for some of you to bring up your alcohol drinking predilections on internet forums? Why do you feel it is important or interesting to mention the fact that you drink copious amounts of alcohol? For fuck's sake, it is not an accomplishment. If you omitted the lame "it's beer thirty" posts on the other forum, some prominent posters there would have absolutely nothing to say. I see those types of comments routinely on here as well now. What is it about drinking alcohol that you think is interesting enough to others that you feel compelled to post about it? Does it make you feel manly? Does it make you feel like "one of the guys"? I've never heard of anyone feeling the need to say "I love drinking lemonade. It's lemonade thirty. I'm going out now to pound down many glasses of my favorite lemonade. Jeezus do i have a sugar-induced lemonade headache today." Why? Because that is not interesting or impressive either.

Getting shit faced drunk and trying to impress your friends while doing so was something new and fun...back in high school. By all means, drink until your liver fails. But no one cares how much you drink or how much you can drink or how often.-

Other drinkers do. Its also why people go drink together instead of just huddled in their room sucking down mekong. It's a social activity.

Good point. We need some lemonade smilies too.

P.S. Do you drink? Genuinely curious.

Actually you should be careful with Lemonade. Years ago I used to have a Lemonade and Archers problem.

Don’t worry I schnapped out of it eventually.
