How Swift are Swift Transfers from a Cambodian Bank

Post by takeoman »

Need to make a credit card payment asap. However as senile dementia is setting in, I forgot that the Cambodian banking system would be shutting down for most, if not all of this week. Hope to be able to submit the instructions tomorrow, but will this ensure payment by the 19th? :hattip:

I tried today at 2 different CABs and none of the girls working today knew how. I've done it 3X there before. They told me to return Fri. My $$$ usually posts in 2 days.

CAB are back open tomorrow (Friday) as are the rest of the banks. Get in there before lunchtime and you should have value by Friday afternoon US, maybe as late as Monday to Europe depending on your luck.

2-3 business days for international SWIFT transfers from ABA. I have made a SWIFT transfer to NZ with ABA via internet banking during a Cambodian bank holiday, and the funds still reached my NZ account in 2 days.
