Foreigner had her Ipad snatched by children at Sampov Mountain, Battambang province.

Battaambong: An Italian woman filed a complaint at the police station after she just had her ipad snatched by children around 5:45 pm at the bat cave at Sampov mountain, located at Phnom Sampov Kang Kert village, Phnom Sampov commune, Banon district, Battambang province while she was filming millions of bats flying from the cave.

According to Kampuchea Thmey Daily News, The victim is a 52 years old Italian woman. She said, before the incident happened she was standing in front of bat cave watching bats flying from the cave and then she took her ipad from her bag to film it and all of a sudden, there was a boy about 10 years old snatched the ipad from her and run via a small path into the forest.

She didn’t know what to do, so she went to file a complaint at the police station hoping that they could bring back her Ipad and recently police are searching for the boy.

There was a lot of snatching going on lately toward foreign tourists. Currently there are some tourism police are deployed to patrol at downhill.

i have been to both bat cave and killing cave. Phnom Sampove a must place to visit. BTW, when i was there watching thousand of bats flying from the cave, there were not many children around.
