Aren't there quite a few people here that say more arms are the answer. Stupid 8-year old girl; why wasn't she packing????

Irresponsible parents. When I lived in America all my firearms were locked up and/or secured in some way, specially when I knew children were in the house. A small steel pistol safe next to the bed with a number or multi-finger press lock is the best insurance against children shooting each other and still instantly accessible in case of an intruder break in. I use one here with a small steel cable for tie down when traveling to secure my passport/money/etc. I actually saw some for sale in a big box store in Pattaya a couple months ago.
