An old Australia man fell and died in the bathroom on the boat from Vietnam

Phnom Penh: According to Kampuchea Thmey Daily News, An old Australian man fell and died in the bathroom on the boat calls AMALOTUS from Vietnam. It happened around 5:20 pm on 01 October 2015 at the port located on Sisowat quay, Sras Chark commune, Daun Penh district.

Police confirmed that the foreigner name David William McHugh, Australian, male, 67 years old. He fell in the bathroom in room number 309 on AMALOTUS boat. It is a tourist boat from Vietnam.

According to his wife, Alison Jean, 59 years old, her husband and she stayed in the same room, and then her husband went to the bathroom, after 2 or 3 minutes, she heard a sound from the bathroom. She went in to see and found her husband fell down and died already. She added, the deceased has heart problem and diabetes long time ago.

After the autopsy from the experts committee and representative from the embassy of Australia, it confirmed that he died from heart attack. Recently, the dead body is being kept at Cambodia-Russian Friendship hospital.
