You could play me, to see who's worse! I only ever play for fun, my brother is the Spassky of the house, he used to get angry with me for throwing games away with stoopid moves.thePeck wrote:I generally like chess but such a novice it's pointless for me to play with anyone with skill.

Re: Phnom Penh Chess Club
I was trying my hardest to keep it going ( and it is still in action) but was getting pissed off at being the only one who turned up on time and who was spending any money , drinking beer and generally having a good time.
I have walked past a few times recently and it seems the French and Russian contingent are stilling turning up although not many.
I'm willing to do my bit if others are, and will show my face again this coming Sunday.
Less experienced players don't worry I'm the worst there is and we don't play for cash just for fun.
See you at Open Wine this Sunday if you want to keep this club alive.
Thanks
Adam

Re: Phnom Penh Chess Club
Never knew there was a chess club in PP ---- I used to be half way decent years ago. Played a German guy up in Battambang last year and the experience was was humiliating. Had not played in years but he tore me apart. I guess I have lost a few brain cells and a lot of attention span over the years.vladimir wrote:You could play me, to see who's worse! Taxi, we'd rather walk. Huddle a doorway with the rain dogs
