Gas price [ LPG ]

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Gas price [ LPG ]

Post by Duncan »

Last week I paid for a refill of 15 kg gas bottle delivered ,, cost $11, now I have found the receipt of a gas refill on 22/03/13 for $22 delivered. That's quite a drop in price. What other items have gone down that much.?

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Thanks for that, we'll call them when we need the next refill and see how the price is then.

Also surprised at the price of the last refill - was advertised at $15 but paid $11 and still got the free detergent. I remember a discussion last year about 15kg refills costing $22. The cartel must have collapsed.

Edit: had a chuckle at the time, I have been curious about the free detergent and think I've finally reasoned it out. When testing any fitting for gas leaks we spray with detergent water and look for bubbles. I think this has been misconstrued here as 'gas should be delivered with free laundry or kitchen detergent - crazy barang'.
