Fuel economy bike build? Interest?

This is a part of our Cambodia forums to chat about anything Cambodia-related. This discussion forum is at the top of our site because it's usually the busiest part of the expat community chatter with random topics on just about everything, including expat life, Khmer politics, Cambodian blogs we have or have come across, or whatever else our members want to discuss. Fuel economy bike build? Interest?

Post by AE86 » Tue Aug 25, 2015 9:27 pm

Honestly, I'm bored.

Been "touring" SE Asia for the last little while and am looking for a "project". I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in a super fuel economy bike build. It's an idea I've been playing around with, especially since the scooter I'm riding only does 70 mpg (25 km for a litre). I'm thinking of abandoning it and building myself something that focuses on maximizing fuel economy.

If there's not much interest though I probably wont bother posting up about it, but if there are those interested in reading, etc. let me know and I'll create a build thread for it in the coming week(s).

Cheers

For me I'd like to see a bigger engine rebuild like 250cc
